The 2021 refurbishment of Celebrity Solstice was a Solstice-class modernization focused on refreshing guest spaces while maintaining the ship’s signature design elements. Staterooms were updated with new soft goods, refreshed furnishings, and improved lighting to create a brighter, more contemporary atmosphere. Public areas, including lounges and gathering spaces, received updated décor, new furniture, and layout improvements. Dining venues were enhanced with refreshed finishes and updated design details to improve both aesthetics and guest flow. In addition to visible upgrades, the drydock included extensive mechanical and technical work, such as propulsion maintenance, hotel-system upgrades, and systems inspections, ensuring the ship remained reliable, efficient, and comfortable for future sailings. The next scheduled ship refurbishment will occur in 2026. In 2026, the Celebrity Solstice will undergo the Solstice-class modernization program. The major refurbishment will introduce all-new dining concepts such as premium eateries replacing longstanding favorites, reinvented outdoor spaces and lounges that elevate social and relaxation zones, and upgraded accommodations including refreshed staterooms and all-new stateroom categories that echo features found on Celebrity’s newer Edge-class vessels. Major public spaces will be reimagined with updated décor and thoughtful design to enhance guest flow and comfort, while entertainment venues and lounges receive refreshed aesthetics and programming options. In addition to these guest-visible enhancements, the initiative includes substantial technical and systems upgrades to hotel infrastructure, IT, navigation equipment, mechanical components, and environmental systems, ensuring the ships remain competitive, efficient, and compliant as they continue operating globally.
