Cruise Ship Tracker Map

Free cruise ship tracking for every ship sailing right now. The live cruise ship map below shows cruise ship current locations — which ships are at sea or in port, where they’re headed next, and their scheduled arrival and departure times. Our cruise ship tracker map covers 188 ships across 19 cruise lines, with no account and no subscription.

At seaIn port

Positions are derived from each ship’s published itinerary, interpolated to the current time — exact at each destination, and estimated along a direct course in between. Open any ship to see it on its real charted route. These are not AIS position reports.

01Itinerary

We start from the published itinerary

Every sailing lists the ports a ship calls at and the time it arrives and departs each one. That schedule is the backbone of the track.

02Charted route

We follow the charted route

Between two ports the ship follows a charted course rather than a straight line — around headlands, through channels and up fjords. We plot it on that real path.

03Position now

We work out where it is now

Comparing the current time against the leg the ship is on gives its position: exact at each destination, and a close estimate in between.

// CRUISE SHIP TRACKER QUESTIONS

Where is my cruise ship right now?

Search for your ship by name at the top of this page, or pick it out of the live cruise ship map. Its page shows the current location, the port it is sailing to next and the scheduled arrival time. All 188 ships sailing today are here.

Is cruise ship tracking free?

Yes. Cruise ship tracking here is free and always has been — no account, no subscription and no per-ship charge. Every ship on the map, every itinerary and every port call is open to anyone.

How does this cruise ship tracker work?

The tracker works out each ship's position from its published itinerary and the charted route between its ports, then estimates how far along that route the ship should be right now. That makes the position exact at each destination and an estimate in between. It is not an AIS report, so it will not show an unplanned diversion or a delay.

How many cruise ships can I track?

188 cruise ships are being tracked right now across 19 cruise lines — 147 at sea and 41 in port. Any ship with a published itinerary appears here, not only the ones broadcasting a position.

Is the cruise ship tracker real time?

Positions are recalculated continuously against each ship’s schedule and refresh as you watch, so a ship at sea creeps along its route and the map always shows where it should be right now. It is not a real-time AIS satellite feed, though: arrival and departure times come from the cruise line’s published itinerary, so an unplanned diversion or a delay will not show up.

Can I see which cruise ships are in port right now?

Yes. 41 ships are alongside at the moment. The pink markers on the map are ships in port, and the "Cruise ships in port right now" section groups them by port so you can see which ships share a destination today.

How accurate is cruise ship tracking without AIS?

A ship is exactly where the schedule says at each arrival and departure. Between two ports the position is interpolated along the real charted route, so it is a close estimate rather than a satellite fix — accurate enough to answer "where is my ship", but it will not reflect a diversion.
