Renovation details
Formerly the Carnival Victory, the Carnival Radiance ship underwent a $200 million bow-to-stern transformation in 2021. In late 2024, it received its first major technical check since the transformation, including a refresh of the Big Chicken by Shaquille O'Neal and updates to the WaterWorks slides. The next scheduled ship refurbishment will occur in November 2026. This Carnival Venezia refurbishment will be the ship's first major dry dock under the Carnival brand since its conversion. It is expected to receive more "Carnival-standard" technical upgrades while carefully maintaining its "Fun Italian Style" aesthetic.
