- Purchasing a day pass is straightforward: complete the online order and passes arrive by email the same day.
- Print the passes and bring them on the trip, as they are required at resort check-in.
- Day passes can be bought up to one day before arrival in port, though availability at RIU Palace Paradise Island is quite limited — early booking is strongly encouraged.
- A valid photo ID and printed day pass must be surrendered at the front desk upon check-in and are held there until departure back to the cruise pier.

Getting there
Taxis are readily available at the cruise ship terminal. The resort sits about 15 minutes by car from the cruise pier, with fares starting at approximately $15 total for two passengers and $3 per additional guest. Despite the short distance, departing the resort at least 2 hours ahead of the ship's scheduled departure time is strongly advised.
