In April 2025, the MSC Preziosa underwent a two-week refurbishment in Rotterdam. This project involved extensive "soft" updates, including the replacement of over 15,000 square meters of carpeting and the reupholstering of furniture in the Galaxy Lounge. Technical work included hull cleaning and propeller inspections to improve speed and efficiency.
