The MSC Armonia experienced a refurbishment in November, 2014. The dry dock included drastic changes to the ship's structure and size. Roughly 5k gross tons and 100 feet of length were added to the vessel. This included the addition of 193 new cabins for passengers and 59 new staterooms for crew members. The drydock upgrades also included changes to common areas of the ship. A new AquaPark was built along with new shops (like Dior) and boutiques improvements. The most recent routine maitenance of the Armonia was completed in 2024. Early in the year, underwent a routine technical dry dock in Malta that focused on hull maintenance, machinery inspections, and a "soft goods" refresh of the upholstery and carpeting in public lounges.
