Renovation details

The Margaritaville at Sea Islander remains in its "fresh" post-launch state, having undergone an extensive, four-month bow-to-stern transformation that concluded in June 2024. During this dry dock, the ship was completely gutted to replace all 1,105 staterooms with tropical-themed accommodations and to build out a signature 14-story atrium and the three-story LandShark Bar at Sea. As of late 2025, the ship continues to receive minor "lifestyle" updates rather than structural ones, such as the December 2025 addition of the Permanent Reminder tattoo parlor and temporary modifications for specialized sailings, including the world’s first dog-friendly cruise scheduled for late 2025.
