The Millennium Class is a series of four cruise ships operated by Celebrity Cruises, constructed between 1999 and 2002 at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. Included in the Millennium class are the Millennium (2000), Infinity (2001), Summit (2001), and Constellation (2002). Each measures approximately 294 meters in length and has a gross tonnage around 91,000 GT. Notably, this class was among the first cruise ships to utilize a turbo-electric COGAS (Combined Gas and Steam) power plant, enhancing energy efficiency by reclaiming otherwise lost energy. Also of note, the class features a distinctive angular stern. Passenger capacity on these ships range from 1,950 to 2,460 across 11 passenger decks.

Celebrity Summit’s 2019 Revolution refit was a comprehensive modernization effort that significantly upgraded the ship’s accommodations, public areas, and onboard systems. Staterooms were fully redesigned with contemporary furnishings, updated bathrooms, improved lighting, and enhanced comfort features. Dining venues were modernized with refreshed décor, new seating, and improved layouts, while lounges and public spaces received new finishes and furnishings to create a more upscale, cohesive design. The spa and wellness areas were refreshed to enhance relaxation and functionality. Shipwide technology upgrades improved connectivity and digital guest services, while mechanical and hotel-system enhancements completed during drydock ensured improved efficiency, reliability, and long-term operational readiness.
