Pricing
The average expected prices for drinks on a Celebrity cruise ship, before the added 20% gratuity, are: domestic beer around $8-$9 per bottle, and premium beers around $10-$11. Wine by the glass starts at about $10 for house selections and commonly runs up to $17 or more for premium pours. Cocktails are typically in the $12 to $20+ range. Non-alcoholic drinks like specialty coffees, bottled water, sodas, and mocktails generally cost between $4 and $8 per item. The unlimited drink packages offer a fixed-price way ($89 - $129 per day) to enjoy a wide range of beverages throughout your cruise. The Classic Drink Package typically covers alcoholic drinks up to a certain price per serving (often around $10) and includes a variety of beers, house wines by the glass, spirits, cocktails, as well as unlimited basic non-alcoholic options like soda, bottled water, and specialty coffees. The higher-tier Premium Drink Package covers more expensive items (up to around $17 per serving) and adds premium spirits, craft beers, a wider selection of wines, and includes premium non-alcoholic options like fresh juices and Red Bull. Both packages are purchased per person for the duration of the cruise, and a 20% service charge is added to the package price.
Attire
Boulevard Lounge recommended attire, according to Celebrity, is "cruise casual" - including collared shirts, slacks, or jeans (no rips) for men, and blouses, sundresses, or pants for women, with no swimwear, tank tops, or flip-flops.
How to reserve
Boulevard Lounge does not require reservations. The venue is first-come, first-served. Visit during off-peak hours or during port stops to avoid heavy crowds.
How to purchase
To purchase your Celebrity Cruises drink package in advance, you should log into the Cruise Planner tool on the Celebrity Cruises website or use the Celebrity Cruises App. Navigate to the "Beverage Packages" section to see the Classic, Premium, and Non-Alcoholic options. Pre-purchasing is highly recommended as the prices are often significantly discounted compared to onboard, and you have the ability to cancel and rebook if a lower price becomes available during a sale. The deadline for advance purchase is typically 48 to 72 hours before your cruise sails, and the package will be active as soon as you step on board. If you choose to purchase the package onboard, you must do so on Embarkation Day (the first day of the cruise) at a bar, lounge, or the Guest Relations desk. Keep in mind that the onboard price will be the full retail rate, which is usually higher than the pre-cruise sale price. Regardless of when you buy, the price for the package is calculated per person, per day, for the entire duration of the cruise, and all guests of legal drinking age in the same stateroom are required to purchase the same alcoholic package. Once purchased, the package is linked to your SeaPass card, which you present to the bar staff for your included drinks.
Age restrictions
Boulevard Lounge is open to all ages during the day (with supervision for under 13s) but restricted to 21 and older after 6:00–7:00 p.m. for alcohol service and evening events, with a Celebrity curfew requiring under 18s to be accompanied after 1:00 a.m. The drinking age is 21, enforced by keycard/ID checks.
Good to know
Boulevard Lounge opens around 10:00 a.m. - closing time often depends on the crowd and demand.
