What's inside a Celebrity Apex P1 balcony
The P1 category on Celebrity’s newer Edge Class ships denotes a Deluxe Porthole View with Veranda stateroom. These unique cabins, often situated at the extreme forward or aft of the vessel, feature a private balcony where the opening to the sea is framed by a large metal hull cutout resembling a porthole, rather than the typical full floor-to-ceiling glass wall. This design provides significant shelter and privacy to the veranda but offers a less expansive view from inside the cabin compared to a standard veranda or Infinite Veranda stateroom. Beds: P1 cabins include a king bed that converts into two twins; and some staterooms also include a sofa bed to accommodate a third guest.
