Renovations included the following: The Carnival Valor was last refurbished in 2021. The dry dock took place in Cadiz, Spain. The renovations included mostly general maintenance. Prior to the 2021 dry dock, the Carnival Valor was refurbished in April, 2016. During this drydock session in Freeport, the Fun Ship 2.0 upgrades were applied, including: Guy’s Burger Joint, Blue Iguana Cantina, Alchemy Bar, Red Frog Rum Bar, Skybox Sports Bar, Cherry on Top, and Camp Ocean. Additionally, the hull was coated and the Valor received shoreside power capabilities.
