Carnival Sunshine is a Sunshine-class ship built in 1996 as Carnival Destiny, now the #22 ship in the Carnival fleet by size and its oldest, refreshed in a February 2025 life-extension. Across 13 passenger decks it holds 14 dining venues and 11 bars. On deck 4, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse and Bonsai Sushi sit near Piano Bar 88, while the refreshed JiJi Asian Kitchen and Cucina del Capitano share deck 9 aft. Poolside, Guy's Burger Joint and Blue Iguana Cantina feed the Beach Pool crowd alongside the RedFrog Rum Bar. Higher up, WaterWorks has the Twister Waterslide, SkyCourse is a ropes course with sea views, and Seaside Theater screens films outdoors. Evenings bring shows in the Liquid Lounge and cocktails at Alchemy Bar. Kids have Camp Ocean, teens get Circle C and Club O2, and adults retreat to Serenity Adult Only Retreat.
