Promenade Deck
Ocean Views, Walks, and Relaxation
The Promenade Deck is an open walkway that extends around part of the ship, offering space for walking, light exercise, or quiet observation. It provides unobstructed ocean views with railings along the outer edge and is wide enough to accommodate both walkers and those stopping to enjoy the scenery. Benches and shaded areas are positioned at intervals for rest or conversation. The deck is used throughout the day, with early mornings and evenings being the most active times. Lighting allows for safe use after dark, and the area connects to nearby lounges and public spaces. The Promenade Deck provides a simple, accessible outdoor area for relaxation, movement, and fresh air.
Yes
Promenade Deck does not have an associated fee to participate. The activity is included in your cruise fare. Check your Carnival daily schedule of events to find hours of operation.
Promenade Deck is free for guests to use.
Promenade Deck, like most public areas of your Carnival ship, requires that children under 13 years old must be supervised by an adult, especially during late-night hours.
Carnival recommends swimwear such as swimsuits, swim trunks, or rash guards, with swim diapers mandatory for non-toilet-trained children in kiddie pools like Mickey’s Splash Zone. Cover-ups (e.g., T-shirts, sarongs) and footwear (e.g., flip-flops, water shoes) are recommended when moving to or from these areas to comply with ship-wide dress codes outside pool decks. For non-water-related / sun-bathing activities, appropriate attire includes casual wear.
