Meet up with your professional guide at the pier for a scenic ride out toward Firostefani, or Fira, with its iconic Church of Aghios Gerasimos. From there you will take a walk through the capital city with its Convent of Saint Nicholas, a still-functioning Benedictine monastery that was founded in 1064. Continue on through the village of Imerovigli, situated along the highest point of the caldera, for astonishing views of the famous Skaros Rock, the most important of Santorini's medieval castle fortress. Farther north you will encounter stunning views of Thirasia, the second inhabited island of the archipelago, as well as the breathtaking landscape of the Caldera. Finally you will reach the world-famous city of Oia! Enjoy 45 minutes to stroll the alleys of this picturesque coastal town before your return trip to Fira.
