The tour duration and departure time are for the guided walking tour. Your ticket includes admission to the zoo, and guests can arrive at any time during the opening hours. Transportation is not included in the tour price, so you can come and go at will. The zoo is open from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM in winter (May to August) and from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM in summer (September to April).

- Depending on where your ship docks, a 5 minute walk followed by either a 12 minute or a 35 minute ferry ride (not included in excursion price) from the cruise pier.
- We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and closed-toe, flat-soled walking shoes. A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen is suggested.
- The zoo is located on a slope. Although it is wheelchair accessible, guests should have someone with them to push. Wheelchairs are available to borrow for free at the zoo with advanced notice at time of booking. Strollers are also available for an additional charge. Children 3 years of age or younger may attend the tour free of charge.
Excursion purchases are fully refundable outside of 14 days prior to the tour date. Beginning on the 14th day prior to the tour date, excursion purchases are non-refundable.
