Transformed from an 18th-century sugar plantation, Mount Irvine Bay Resort operates as a boutique hotel that preserves its colonial-era character through lush tropical gardens, distinctive period decor, and sweeping ocean panoramas. Among its standout features is one of the largest swimming pools on the island, complete with a swim-up bar. Adjacent to the pool sits a restaurant built into an original sugar mill structure with Caribbean Sea vistas. Owned and operated by the same family since opening in 1972, this award-winning property has earned international acclaim as a defining Tobago landmark celebrated for its refined atmosphere and natural beauty.
Taxis are plentiful at the cruise terminal in Scarborough. The drive to the resort takes roughly 20 minutes and costs approximately $15 per direction. Plan to depart the resort at least 2 hours before the scheduled ship departure to allow adequate time for the return trip.
- Booking is handled entirely online. Immediately after purchase, the day pass becomes available to download and print. A confirmation email containing pass access links is also sent for those who prefer to print later. Check-in at the resort requires both a printed pass and cruise-line-issued identification.
