The Whole 9 Yards Full-Day Small-Group Tour of Santorini
An amazing experience combining 4000 years of history – fun - flavors and hidden treasures. First stop the highest spot of the island, prophet Elias Mountain. The "live" map of the island will make you understand many things regarding its geological formation and microclimate. We continue with a walk to the hilltop of Pyrgos, a village with a distinctly medieval character that served as the island’s capital until the early 19th century. After that, we drive south in order to reach the archeological site of the prehistoric city of Akrotiri. One hour of free time to see and visit the excavations of the best-preserved prehistoric settlement of Aegean. Our next stop is a traditional winery for tasting and presentation of Santorini’s local wines. We will step on the ancient vineyard and get interesting info for the special “terroir” of Santorini.
