Start your journey at the enchanting Ayn Razat, a cherished natural hot spring and the prettiest of the several springs found across the Salalah Plain. Water flows down the limestone from the hillside year-round, collecting in lily ponds full of pink and blue blossoms. Watch for the dragonflies and kingfishers who flock to the pools. Ascend to the majestic Aftalqout View Point, where awe-inspiring vistas stretch before you, providing a sweeping panorama of the surrounding landscapes. Then, along the way to Mughsail, make a stop at a frankincense farm, an opportunity to capture the essence of Oman's rich heritage and its aromatic treasures. This region has long been known as a producer of high-quality frankincense, which was historically transported by caravans along the Incense Route, along with spices, precious stones, rare woods, animal skins, gold, and more. Enjoy time at Mughsail Beach, a haven of pristine white sands, and check out the spectacular blowholes at Marneef Cave. At the start of the cliffs, you'll find a stretch of rocks potholed with blowholes that release jets of sea spray up to 100 feet in the air, making a memorable "woofing" sound as they do. The Marneef Cave itself overlooks the blowholes and the turquoise Arabian Sea. Finally, visit the hidden gem of Masood beach, a well-kept secret along Salalah's coastline. It's a perfect viewpoint to cap off a memorable day.
