About this excursion

This customized private shore excursion from Civitavecchia will be designed by you, according to what you desire to see and do in Rome.

If you have a theme in mind for a personalized excursion to Rome but need a hand with the specifics we’ll be happy to help you with suggestions. Architecture, ancient Rome, art, history are all great points of departure for a personalized tour of Rome.

Do you already have a list prepared? Benissimo! All we’ll need to do is sort out the timing and route. Been to Rome previously and have seen all the classic highlights? Nessun problem! The supply of things to see in Rome is almost endless.

Here are some suggestions of popular and interesting sights in Rome, to get you started creating the perfect tour. We’ve divided them into primary and secondary groups according to popularity. The things on the secondary list are just as impressive as those on the primary list, only less visited (which might be a good place to start if you want to avoid the throngs of high season).

ENTRANCE TICKETS ARE NOT INCLUDED ON THIS TOUR.

If you wish to do an inside visit at some attractions like the Vatican and Colosseum, you must make your own arrangements. But please conntact with our office to confirm which time slot you must choose.

Other

Good to know: The max group size for this tour is 8 passengers. If you book a group larger than that, your group will be split between multiple vehicles.
In order to provide you with the best-in-class service, our English speaking driving guides have been trained to offer our clients a nice overview with information regarding the major highlights avoiding the expensive charges of hiring a private guide.
Due to strict Italian laws & regulations that protect officially licensed guides, our driving guides can comment and explain the sights only from inside the vehicle, but are not allowed to do so once they are outside the vehicle.
