Snæfellsnes Eclipse 2026 Expedition from Reykjavik
Witness a celestial spectacle on an exclusive tour designed for the August 2026 total solar eclipse. The Snaefellsnes Peninsula is perfectly situated in the path of totality, offering one of the best viewing locations in the world. Our tour will take you to a prime, secluded spot to experience the awe-inspiring moment when day turns into twilight, between 17:45 and 18:45. In addition to this once-in-a-lifetime event, you will explore the very best of "Miniature Iceland." Highlights include the volcanic basalt columns of Gerðuberg, the bird cliffs at Arnarstapi, and a chance to spot seals on Ytri Tunga beach. You'll also visit the stunning black sand beach of Djúpalónssandur and the iconic Kirkjufell mountain. The entire journey is framed by the majestic Snæfellsjökull glacier. This is more than a tour; it’s an unforgettable experience combining the wonders of the cosmos with Iceland's most magnificent landscapes.
