Led by expert marine biologists or naturalists, this immersive adventure takes place aboard a specially designed whale-watching boat with a maximum of 12 guests, offering a small, personal, and respectful encounter with these magnificent animals. Before departure, your guide will share an engaging introduction to humpback whales and their fascinating life cycle. Once on the water, they'll help interpret the whales' behavior as you witness incredible moments such as breaching, tail slapping, traveling, playing, or competing. The boats are equipped with hydrophones, giving you the chance to listen to the whales' haunting songs beneath the surface. Guests may also have the opportunity to participate in ongoing whale research projects, contributing to conservation efforts while learning firsthand. If you appreciate personal attention, scientific insight, and meaningful wildlife encounters, this tour is an excellent choice. - An approximate 10-minute taxi (not included, approximately $16 US to $32 US for a federal taxi or appoximately $5 US to $10 US for a local yellow taxi each way) is required to reach your departure location. Full details will be provided in your electronic ticket upon confirmation.
- We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and sensible, flat-soled walking shoes. A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are also suggested.
- Guests must be able to step on and off the boat without assistance. The minimum age to participate is 3 years old. Pregnant women are not permitted to participate. This tour is not wheelchair accessible.
- Food & beverages: Coffee, cookies and water in the morning departure. Sodas, granola bars and water in the evening departure.
Excursion purchases are fully refundable outside of 14 days prior to the tour date. Beginning on the 14th day prior to the tour date, excursion purchases are non-refundable.
