Private Experience Puerto Plata Full City Tour and Beach Time
On the Puerto Plata Full City Tour & Beach Time, we’ll show you the city’s highlights, Dominican folklore, and the beautiful coastline. Explore the colonial center, visit St. Philip's Cathedral, the Umbrella and Pink Streets, and the La Puntilla headland with its Spanish fort. Take photos and shop if you like. Sample cane juice liqueurs, then visit the oak barrel aging warehouse to learn about Dominican rum. Ride along the Malecon seaside boulevard and see the Neptune statue. Enjoy a traditional Dominican lunch with rice, beans, or plantains. Visit the town’s only chocolate factory to see organic cocoa processing and taste hot chocolate and local treats. End with a visit to Playa Dorada, Puerto Plata’s best beach. Relax on golden sands, swim, or stroll the shore. Enjoy beach bars, souvenir markets, and a piña colada served in a fresh pineapple.
