Discover the joy of scuba diving in Aruba during this introductory excursion. Experience the thrill of breathing underwater, the freedom of being weightless, and the excitement of seeing the dramatic undersea world. Your lesson begins with comprehensive instruction on your equipment and dive. Once you are comfortable, you will put on your equipment and take your first dive under the close supervision of the dive instructor. Marvel at the underwater sights including colorful fish, coral, underwater vegetation, and other fascinating marine life. The instruction you receive and the experience you gain on this excursion will allow you to further explore the underwater world for years to come! Equipment is included in the price. PLEASE NOTE: Health restrictions apply and a liability waiver and a medical statement are required to be filled out by all participants. If you are taking medication, consult your doctor before participating in this program. A medical release for scuba diving and most medications would be required. - An approximately 5 to 10-minute walk from the cruise ship pier. Full details will be provided in your electronic ticket upon confirmation.
- We recommend wearing your swimsuit under comfortable clothing and shoes that can get wet. Guests should bring a hat, sunglasses, a towel, and sunscreen.
- Minimum age is 10. Health restrictions apply and a liability waiver and a medical statement are required to be filled out by all participants. Some of the common medical conditions include: high blood pressure, heart conditions, a current cold or sinus congestion, epilepsy, asthma, diabetes, or a severe medical problem. A medical release for scuba diving and most medications would be required. Please review and sign the PADI Health Questionnaire. If you answer YES to any questions on the questionnaire, you will need a physician’s signed unconditional medical clearance specifically for scuba diving before participating. In addition, participants aged 60 and older with a medical condition not listed on the questionnaire must also provide a physician’s signed medical clearance for scuba diving. If the required physician’s release is not provided when applicable, you will not be permitted to dive and will not be entitled to a refund, so please review the questionnaire carefully BEFORE booking this tour.
