Meet up with your driver at the port for a scenic ride along the north coast to River Rapids Adventures in Trelawny. Once on-site you will be greeted by your friendly tour guide who will expertly outfit you with your safety gear and help you choose which river adventure to take. Rafting is perfect for those families with young children or elderly participants, as they can experience the river at an easy pace without getting too wet in the process. More adventurous guests can choose to conquer the waters with a kayak, river board or tube. Hop on your chosen craft and float downstream for approximately 45 minutes, then transfer to a small boat (weather permitting) that will whisk you away to a private beach where you can dine on authentic Jamaican fare while swapping river stories. Continue to Ocho Rios and Dunn's River Falls, a gorgeous 600-foot terraced waterfall nestled in the lush rainforest with crystal clear water that cascades down into the ocean. Climb the falls with the help of trained guides who will give you plenty of breaks along the way for photos. You can also stop at any point and swim in one of the many refreshing lagoons, or tuck under one of the smaller waterfall sections for a memorable massage. Stairs are available alongside the waterfall for those guests who want to see the falls without trying to manage the uneven and rocky terrain. - We recommend wearing your swimsuit under comfortable clothing and shoes that can get wet. Guests should bring a hat, sunglasses, a towel, and sunscreen
- The minimum age to participate on the tubing activity is 4 years old. Children ages 4 to 7 years old may ride on the lap of their parent during the tubing activity; however, please note that the tubing activity is not available to children ages 3 and younger. Individuals must be at least 8 years old to ride in their own tubes. Guests must be able to get in and out of transportation. This tour is not wheelchair accessible. Maximum weight allowance is 280 lbs.
