Your journey begins with a scenic drive from the cruise ship pier to the lush and historic Rio Bueno. Upon arrival, friendly and professional guides will assist with check-in and help you gear up for your adventure. You'll kick things off with an optional guided hike through the tropical rainforest, where you'll make your way up a series of picturesque waterfalls and cascades. Take in the sights and sounds of nature, and enjoy a cool dip under the falls before heading to the rafting launch point. Then, it's time to grab your paddle and hit the water! Working as a team with your raft guide, you'll navigate the gentle yet lively currents of the Rio Bueno. The river's class 2 rapids offer just the right amount of splash and excitement, balanced by calm stretches perfect for soaking in the stunning surroundings. Midway through your journey, enjoy a refreshing stop at a riverside area where you can swim, relax, or take a leap into the deep blue from an elevated platform--a highlight for many guests!Back on the raft, you'll cruise through the final stretch of the river as it opens into the Caribbean Sea. Paddle along the shoreline until you reach a private beach, where your adventure winds down. Spend time lounging in the sun, swimming in the warm ocean waters, or enjoying a drink from the beach bar before your return trip to the pier. - An approximate 5 to 10-minute walk from the cruise ship pier is required to reach your departure location. Full details will be provided in your electronic ticket upon confirmation.
- We recommend wearing comfortable, weather appropriate clothing over your swim suit and comfortable water shoes. We also suggest sun protection such as sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. Remember to bring a beach towel from your ship.
- Children must be 5 years or older to participate. Weight limit is 260lbs. per person.
