Dunn's River Falls is roughly 600 feet above sea level, with beautiful, crystal-clear water running down the mountain into the ocean. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to climb all the way up the mountain. There are places along the way where you are able to slide down into pools of water, take a swim, and climb again. For those who wish to stop climbing, there are multiple points where you can leave the falls and walk on the adjacent path. There are local "guides" at the falls who will lead you up. These guides are separate from your Ocho Rios tour and will expect a gratuity when you reach the top. Dunn's River Falls is the Caribbean's most popular attraction and an experience you won't soon forget. Glide through lush tropical greenery as you wear a provided life jacket on a circular inner tube and take in the amazing scenery as you gently wind down the lovely water of the lazy river. This relaxing yet exciting journey lasts approximately 45 to 55 minutes, depending on the flow of the river current. As you flow downstream, you will encounter a few rapids, which add a fun and refreshing element to your ride. At all times, your river guide will be there to assist you as you travel the course of the river. Your driver will safeguard your belongings during the trip and will meet you at the end of your ride, where you can spend a few minutes shopping at the local craft center.

- To see the falls, guests must climb down several flights of stairs to reach the first viewing area. Climbing the falls requires climbing from rock to rock against the water. As Jamaica is a mountainous island, walking may be on inclined surfaces. Weight limit for the tubes is 260 pounds.
