Urban Adventure Quest has created an interactive scavenger hunt that combines the fun of the Amazing Race with a three-hour sightseeing tour of New York's Central Park. Guided from any smartphone, groups make their way among well-known and overlooked gems of the park, solving clues and completing challenges while learning local history. The adventure begins at The Dakota and will take you on a journey through the middle section of this great preserve. The Quest route leads you from Strawberry Fields to the architectural splendor of the Natural History Museum and the Met, from ornate art hidden around playgrounds to the great Reservoir. The tour requires just over 2.5 miles of walking and is easily accessed from local transit systems. Using a smartphone as "the guide" allows participants to start when they want and determine their own pace of play. Grab a bite from a street cart or an ice cream in the park--why not?
