You will be welcomed into the home of a local Omani family from the village, a rare opportunity to experience Omani hospitality, traditions and everyday life in a truly personal setting. Discover the family farm, learn about date palms and their importance in Omani culture, see how they are traditionally climbed and try climbing one yourself. During harvest season, you may even pick fresh dates directly from the trees. The farm is also home to animals, which children especially enjoy. Share a traditional Omani lunch inside the family home, spend time with the family, ask questions and discover more about local customs, family life and village traditions.
