A driver will bring you to whatever sites you choose. Just sit back and relax as a knowledgeable chauffeur makes getting around the cities a snap. The capital of Tuscany and cradle of the Italian Renaissance, Florence is one of the most important and beautiful cities in Italy. Visit the town hall, the fortress-like Palazzo Vecchio with its soaring bell tower. Outside, in the Piazza della Signoria, take in the imposing figure of the god of the sea at the Fountain of Neptune, where he stands tall, surrounded by laughing satyrs and charging sea horses. The piazza also has a reproduction of Michaelangelo's David, or you can go see the real deal at the Accademia di Belle Arti. Or visit the wonderful Uffizi Gallery to see pieces like Botticelli's The Birth of Venus. If Gothic architecture is your interest, visit the elaborate Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore in Piazza del Duomo, right in the heart of the city. Whether it's walking on the narrow streets and exploring the cafes and restaurants that offer some of Italy's finest food and wine, experiencing the history and art of the region at the numerous museums and monuments, or simply taking in the Renaissance architecture, Florence is a city full of classic splendor that you will remember for a lifetime. Please Note: This tour is self-paced with a custom itinerary of your choosing. The tour does not include entrance fees, parking fees, tolls, or gratuities. Though your English-speaking driver can provide commentary while driving you around, they cannot act as a guide outside of the car. The driver will be happy to make suggestions about the best places to eat throughout the day.
