Set off for an adventure in the Tuscan countryside and travel to Lucca and Pisa in one day while being transferred to all destinations with a secure return to the port and your ship at the conclusion of your tour. Depart from Livorno and travel for approximately 1 hour to arrive in Lucca. Your comfortable and panoramic journey on your air-conditioned coach includes free maps, free Wi-Fi on the bus, and assistance on board and at the stops in Italian, English, and Spanish. Upon arrival at Porta Santa Maria, you will have approximately 3 hours for self-exploration and discovery in this Renaissance-walled city. Lucca is a city on the Serchio river in Italy's Tuscany region. It's known for the well-preserved Renaissance walls encircling its historic city center and its cobblestone streets. Broad, tree-lined pathways along the tops of these massive 16th- and 17th-century ramparts are popular for strolling and cycling. Casa di Puccini, where the great opera composer was born, is now a house museum. You will then travel from Lucca to Pisa, riding in comfort on a panoramic, scenic trip lasting approximately 35 minutes. Upon arrival at the Pietrasantina car park, you will have approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes of free time to photograph and immerse yourself in this iconic city. Pisa is best known for its Leaning Tower, a white-marble bell tower that was already tilting when it was completed in 1372. The tower, part of the Romanesque cathedral in the Piazza dei Miracoli, offers a unique experience, along with the nearby Baptistry, known for its acoustics, and the Caposanto Monumentale cemetery. Following your time in Pisa, you will return to Livorno, arriving approximately 30 minutes later, and be dropped off near the port area and your waiting ship.
