Your journey begins at the Le Havre cruise port, where you will meet your English-speaking guide and board a comfortable, air-conditioned coach for the approximately 3 to 3.5-hour drive through the Normandy countryside. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating stories about the region's history, culture, and the origins of Mont Saint-Michel. A scheduled comfort stop is included before arriving at this remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, board the complimentary Passeur shuttle for the 15 to 20-minute transfer to the island entrance. Enjoy a guided walking tour through the lower village, strolling along the historic Grand Rue, admiring the medieval ramparts, and taking in panoramic views of the tidal bay. Your guide will explain the island's history, architecture, and importance as a medieval pilgrimage site. This portion of the tour remains in the lower village and does not require climbing. After the guided tour, enjoy approximately two and a half hours of free time to explore at your own pace. You may purchase admission to the famous Mont Saint-Michel Abbey on-site for approximately 16 EUR (approximately $18 US). Reaching the abbey requires climbing approximately 350 steps and rewards visitors with stunning Gothic architecture and panoramic views. If you prefer, spend your free time browsing local shops, photographing the charming streets, or enjoying regional Normandy cuisine at one of the island's restaurants. At the scheduled time, regroup with your guide and return by shuttle to the coach. Relax on the drive back to Le Havre with a scheduled comfort stop before arriving at the cruise port with plenty of time before your ship's departure.

- A short walk from the cruise ship pier is required to reach your departure location. Full details will be provided in your electronic ticket upon confirmation.
- We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and sensible, flat-soled walking shoes. Sunglasses, sunscreen, an umbrella, and a light jacket are also suggested in case of rain or wind. While there is no enforced dress code at the Abbey, respectful attire is appreciated when entering religious spaces.
- This tour is not wheelchair accessible and cannot accommodate collapsible wheelchairs. However, motorized scooters, strollers, walkers, and luggage are permitted. Guests should be prepared to walk primarily on high streets, cobblestones, and steps, including approximately 350 steps to the optional Abbey. This tour is not recommended for infants ages 0-2 due to high temperatures. Guests ages 3-99 are welcome to join. An English-speaking guide is provided. Port assistants also speak English; however, the driver does not speak English. Please indicate any special dietary restrictions (72 hours before tour), including requests for a vegetarian option (48 hours before tour), in advance so that the proper accommodations can be made.
