Your walking tour will begin with your local guide who will be waiting for you in front of the port. From there, make sure you have the proper shoes on as you will be walking through the streets of Old Town for approximately 45 minutes. Kotor, located in Montenegro's Adriatic coast, is in a bay near the limestone cliffs of Mt. Lovcen. Characterized by typical winding streets and squares, this medieval village is home to several Romanesque churches, including the stunning Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, built-in 1166. It's also home to the Maritime Museum, which explores local seafaring history. This well-preserved town is typical of the Middle Ages, built between the 12th and 14th centuries. As part of your walking adventure, you will have the opportunity to observe incredible architecture and numerous monuments of cultural heritage which have placed Kotor on the UNESCO's World Natural and Historical Heritage list. After your walking tour has concluded, your guide will take you on a quick drive to one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the bay, Trojica Viewpoint. The vast and sweeping view will take your breath away as you experience Kotor Bay and the steep mountain ranges.
