Your journey begins at the port of Agios Nikolaos, where you'll set off towards Neapoli to visit a renowned olive oil estate. Here, you'll be welcomed by a member of the Vassilakis family for a guided tour of the olive press, including the original 1865 hand-operated press and the working mill used today. Learn the secrets of award-winning olive oil production before enjoying a professional tasting of four different olive oils, guided by an expert. Next, indulge in a Cretan wine-tasting session led by a qualified sommelier. Sample five exceptional wines (red, white, rose, and dessert) paired with appetizers and a generous selection of local Cretan delicacies. After the tasting, follow a scenic drive through olive groves to the charming village of Plaka. Here, a traditional lunch awaits, featuring fresh fish from Mirabello Bay, served with stunning views of the famous island of Spinalonga. On the return journey, enjoy a brief stop in Elounda at the historic canal where the ancient city of Olous now lies submerged.
