Crete Wine Discovery Tour: Exploring Culture, Traditions, Flavors
In regions like Crete, Wine doesn't only reflect climate and nature of a land, but also a story of this region, people and traditions. During this excursion we will visit 2 wineries and have tastings. We will have a walk through the wineyards and have the opportunity to discuss topics like grape varieties – autochthonous and international – and the ways in which this amazing intellectual plant is locally cultivated and processed. We will vist production sites and wine cellars, and if it is technically possible, you can taste wine in it´s different phases. The wine tasting will give you insights into it´s classical rules that will drive your awarness and provide a better understanding of organoleptic characteristics of wine. We close our wine excursion day feasting like Ancient Greeks at a symposium ––you will enjoy the rustic cuisine and the authentic Cretan hospitality in a traditional tavern!
