Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman stands as the sole resort positioned along the North Sound of the Caribbean Sea, delivering striking waterfront panoramas from both the seaside pool and shore. On-site amenities include a restaurant, a fitness room, and two pickleball courts. A tranquil beach area provides lounge chairs and cabanas on a first-come, first-served basis. The shoreline has a rugged, rocky texture distinct from Seven Mile Beach's powdery sand, giving it a character all its own. Snorkeling directly off the 240-foot pier is popular among visitors, with a ladder offering straightforward entry into clear waters filled with tropical fish, stingrays, and starfish underneath the dock. Snorkel equipment and water shoes are available for rental at the Watersports Hut beside the pool.
Transportation is not included. Taxis are readily available at the cruise pier, and the Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman sits approximately 15 minutes away by cab. Day pass holders may arrive starting at 9 AM and use the facilities until 6 PM. Returning to the ship at least 2 hours before the scheduled cruise departure is strongly advised.
- Groundskeepers perform mowing and landscaping on Mondays. Bookings are completed online, and the day pass becomes available to print right after purchase. An email confirmation with pass access is also sent automatically. Both a printed pass and cruise-line-issued ID must be presented at resort check-in. Capacity at Holiday Inn Grand Cayman is limited, so early booking is recommended to guarantee a spot.
