From Dover Cruise Port Canterbury Cathedral and Dover Castle is a history and culture tour in Dover, booked through Viator. It takes 7 hours 45 minutes. From $423. Starts 9:00 am. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
About this excursion
The two great historic sites of this corner of Kent, both guided by Paul, a Blue and Green Badge guide, and planned around your ship's call at Dover. Paul meets you at the cruise terminal and drives you through the Kent countryside to Canterbury for a two-hour guided tour of the city and its cathedral, then free time for lunch. In the afternoon, Dover Castle: a guided tour with a bird's-eye view of the White Cliffs and, on a clear day, the French coast, and time to visit the wartime tunnels on your own. Entry to both is included. April to October only; in the earlier-closing months the day may run in reverse to fit the castle's hours. You are back at the terminal in good time to reboard.
This is a shared day: other travelers may join you, up to 3 in all, in Paul's own car. The day runs from 2 guests: if you are the only guest booked, Paul may cancel and refund you in full, and he tells you 7 days before your call, or within 24 hours if you book later than that.
