Transportation is not part of the day pass package. Taxis are easily accessible at both the cruise terminal and the resort. Plan to depart for the ship at least 2 hours before its scheduled sailing time. Estimated taxi fares for 1-4 passengers (one way): From Punta Langosta — approximately 20 minutes, around US $25. From International Pier — approximately 15-20 minutes, around US $22. From Puerta Maya — approximately 8-10 minutes, around US $22.
- After completing an online purchase, day pass confirmations arrive via email the same day. Passes remain available for booking up to one day before the port call, though space at Iberostar Cozumel fills quickly, so early reservations are strongly advised. Key details: A valid photo ID and a printed copy of the day pass must be presented at the front desk during check-in, where both will be photocopied. Electronic passes are not accepted and will slow the check-in process. The printed pass contains additional instructions and helpful guidance. A refundable cash deposit of $50 USD (or equivalent in local currency) is collected upon arrival.
