Stretching along 2,625 feet of white sand Caribbean shoreline, El Cozumeleno Beach Resort is an all-inclusive property well suited for cruise visitors. On-site amenities include two pool areas, a dedicated children's pool, oceanfront outdoor whirlpools, a game room, mini-golf, hammock stations, a fitness center, and a tennis court.
Transportation is separate from the day pass. Taxis are available at the cruise terminal for the trip over. Estimated fares for 1-4 passengers: From Punta Langosta — around 10 minutes, approximately US $10. From International Pier — around 20 minutes, approximately US $10. From Puerta Maya — around 23 minutes, approximately US $16.
- Purchasing a day pass involves a simple online transaction, after which confirmation emails arrive the same day. Passes remain on sale up to the day before the port call, but El Cozumeleno has limited availability, so booking ahead is strongly encouraged. Important check-in details: A valid photo ID and a printed day pass are mandatory; both will be held at the front desk until departure back to the cruise pier. Electronic passes are not honored and will cause check-in delays. The printed pass includes further instructions and useful resort information.
