St Lucia PADI Discover Scuba Diving
Welcome to the underwater world of SCUBA during this introduction dive.
Discover excitement, adventure, freedom, and serenity on this St. Lucia excursion. Nothing compares to the "weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling, and you will, too, after your first one-tank scuba dive! The same sites that offer spectacular snorkeling also provide the ideal setting for individuals wishing to discover the wonders of the undersea world through scuba diving. Because these sites originate from the beach, you are introduced to this new sport in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. After being transferred to the dive shop, your day is divided into three easy steps. First, your instructor provides a brief orientation. Second, you go down to the beach and in shallow water put on the diving equipment. There, you'll learn to use scuba equipment and get accustomed to your new surroundings. Third, once the instructor feels secure with your knowledge and comfort level with the equipment, your instructor will lead you on a one-tank dive adventure in the ocean to get a close-up look at this remarkable underwater world. Your dive may be either off the beach or off a boat, depending on water conditions that day. It's an experience you will certainly never forget. The St. Lucia tour price includes transfers, lunch, beverages, and all scuba equipment required. Wet suits are not included; if you need one, it can be rented for approximately $10 US. In addition to a great experience, the skills you acquire during your dive adventures may count toward PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver certifications!

- We recommend wearing your bathing suit under comfortable clothing that may get wet. Sun glasses, sunscreen (biodegradable preferred) and a towel are also recommended. Storage is limited so only bring what you need.
- Participants must be at least 12 years of age. Divers under 18 must have an adult sign a waiver at the dive shop to participate. Health restrictions apply and a waiver and medical statement is required to be filled out by all participants. Please look at the following example: PADI Health Questionnaire If you cannot pass the questionnaire, or do not have the required physician's statement, you will not be permitted to dive. Guests not able to dive will not be entitled to a refund so please look at the questionnaire BEFORE booking this tour. IN ADDITION: If you are taking medication, consult your doctor before participating in this program.
