About this excursion

Enjoy a personal pickup from your hotel, cruise ship, or the airport, and see the impressive sight of Mount Montserrat with an expert guide to accompany you! This tour will take you to the most popular destination outside Barcelona to explore mount-Montserrat with its spectacular views and mountain-top Basilica. On the way to Montserrat, you will enjoy a safe and comfortable ride, as well as great views along the way up the mountain.

Upon reaching the top, you will be touched and inspired as you explore the magnificent mountain and its spectacular rock formations. During this tour, you can learn about the legend of the Black Virgin and enjoy a performance by the “La Escolanía”, which is the oldest children’s choir in Europe (if available). You can do some walking on your own, shop for local cheese & jam, or just take in the amazing views for a little longer.

You can also choose to extend the tour to a full-day excursion with a visit to a local winery. Enjoy the wine country of Catalunya and learn about the local Cava. Lastly, we can drop you off at the Sagrada Familia at the end of the tour where you can continue with your audio-guided skip-the-line tickets!
