Travel to Spain's world-famous PortAventura theme park, only one hour away from Barcelona! Set along the sun-drenched Costa Dorada, this sprawling amusement park offers a wealth of activities covering everything from thrill rides to kid-friendly play areas sure to please the entire family. Wind your way through Europe's second largest theme park where this adventure paradise offers numerous water and thrill rides, shows and attractions all spread across six distinct zones, plus countless restaurants, and the family-friendly "Sesame Street" area. Whatever you like to do, you'll find something to suit your interests. PortAventura Park hosts 40 rides for you to test your courage and feel an adrenaline rush. You will discover one-of-a-kind rides with records for height, speed, and size. You will encounter intense rides such as Dragon Khan, Furius Baco, and Shambhala, Europe's highest roller coaster in Europe, which drops from a 256-foot (78m) peak. However, you will also find plenty of attractions suitable for the entire family. When you are ready to take a break, step inside the Gran Teatro Imperial and discover a world of magic and music where anything is possible--acrobats, dance routines, and melodies. There is also a Sesame Street parade featuring much-loved characters including Big Bird and Cookie Monster. Finish your day by meeting back with your guide at a pre-arranged time and place for the trip back to your original departure point in Barcelona.
