About this excursion
Delphi, the centre of the ancient world, is one of the most moving places in Greece, and this private day trip gets you there in comfort. Your English-speaking driver picks you up from your Athens hotel, apartment or Piraeus cruise port in an air-conditioned Mercedes with Wi-Fi and bottled water.
At Delphi you'll have about three hours to walk the Sacred Way up to the Temple of Apollo, where the Oracle once spoke, and to see the famous bronze Charioteer in the Delphi Archaeological Museum. Then enjoy free time in Arachova, a stone-built village on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, and visit the Monastery of Hosios Loukas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its golden Byzantine mosaics.
