Sauna and Polar Plunge
Alaska is known for its cold water. This invigorating experience takes advantage of those cold waters in the colder months. So take a plunge with us into those icy waters. The shock of the cold water can provide a rush of adrenaline, creating a unique and memorable moment. Polar plunges, where individuals jump into icy waters for a personal challenge, have some health benefits, including increased circulation and stress relief. The adrenaline rush from the shock of cold water can also boost mood and energy levels. This experience takes place in cold water and cold air temperatures. The participants can warm up and change in a sauna tent. They may do the plunge as many times as they would like, alternating between the hot tent and cold water sessions. Each participant is supervised by an American Red Cross Lifeguard.
