Tropical Beach Resort & Spa offers ocean views, sandy shoreline, and a selection of activities including snorkeling, tennis, and non-motorized water sports. Guests can unwind at the outdoor pools, order drinks from the swim-up bar, or settle into lounge chairs and towels provided on the private beach. All food, snacks, and beverages are included, with top-shelf liquors available throughout the day. Dining options range from poolside service and self-serve stations to sit-down meals. An organized activities program features games, competitions, bicycles, and access to sports facilities.

Tropical Beach Resort & Spa occupies 1.5 miles of golden sand at Cofresi Beach on the Amber Coast. The property is a full-service beachfront destination known for its appeal to families and its scenic coastal setting, providing a wide range of amenities for cruise passengers spending the day ashore.
Transportation is separate from the day pass, but taxis are readily available at the cruise terminal. Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & Spa is about a 10-minute drive from Amber Cove pier and roughly 12 minutes from the Puerto Plata Cruise Pier. Taxi fare runs approximately $35 USD one way; riders should verify the rate before departing. It is advisable to head back to the ship no later than 2 hours before the scheduled sailing time.
- This particular day pass is valid only on weekends (Friday or Saturday). After purchasing online, the pass is instantly available to print, and an email confirmation with pass access is also sent. Hotels in the Dominican Republic must maintain guest records, so a passport or photocopy is required. ID is kept at the front desk during the visit and handed back upon checkout. Availability at Tropical Resort & Spa is limited, so booking ahead is recommended. All guests must show a valid ID (driver's license, green card, or passport) to enter the property. A photo of the ID is acceptable in place of the physical document.
