At Tropical Beach Resort & Spa, guests have access to ocean views, sandy beach areas, and activities such as snorkeling, tennis, and non-motorized water sports. The outdoor pools and swim-up bar offer a place to cool down, while the private beach provides lounge chairs and towels at no extra charge. The pass includes unlimited food, snacks, and drinks with top-shelf liquors available all day. Service options include poolside delivery, self-serve counters, and full sit-down dining. Taxis are available at the cruise piers, though transportation costs are not covered by the day pass. Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & Spa is approximately 10 minutes from Amber Cove pier and about 12 minutes from the Puerto Plata Cruise Pier. One-way taxi fare is estimated at $35 USD; confirm the price before accepting a ride. Plan to depart the resort at least 2 hours prior to the ship's scheduled departure.

Passes become available for printing immediately after the online purchase, and an email confirmation with a link to the passes is also provided. Dominican Republic hotels are obligated to record guest information, so a passport or photocopy must be presented. ID is stored at the front desk for the duration of the visit and returned at checkout. Tropical Resort & Spa has limited availability, making early reservations advisable. Every guest must present valid identification (driver's license, green card, or passport) to gain entry. A photograph of the ID is accepted; the original document is not mandatory.
