Taxis are available at the cruise piers, though transportation costs are not covered by the day pass. Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort & Spa is approximately 10 minutes from Amber Cove pier and about 12 minutes from the Puerto Plata Cruise Pier. One-way taxi fare is estimated at $35 USD; confirm the price before accepting a ride. Plan to depart the resort at least 2 hours prior to the ship's scheduled departure.
