Taxi service is available at the cruise piers, though transportation is not included with the day pass. Marien Resort sits about 30 minutes from Amber Cove pier at an estimated cost of $40 each way for 1-4 passengers. From the Puerto Plata Cruise Pier, the drive is roughly 15 minutes with a taxi fare of approximately $35 USD one way. Always confirm the fare before getting in. Guests should aim to leave the resort at least 2 hours ahead of their ship's departure time.
- Once the online purchase is completed, the day pass is immediately available for printing. An email confirmation is also sent with a link to access the passes for those not ready to print right away. Printed passes along with cruise-line-issued ID must be shown at resort check-in. Space at Marien Puerto Plata is quite limited, so reserving well in advance is strongly recommended.
