Guests will have approximately 45 minutes to wander the ruins, capture photos, and take in the rugged coastal surroundings. From here, continue to a picturesque coastal village where you will enjoy around one hour of free time to purchase lunch and explore at your own pace (lunch not included). Stroll through the village, admire the harbor scenery, or simply relax and enjoy the local Scottish charm. The adventure continues with a visit to the Fraserburgh Lighthouse Museum, located within the historic Kinnaird Head Lighthouse, one of Scotland's oldest lighthouse stations. Spend approximately two hours discovering fascinating maritime exhibits, learning about lighthouse keepers, and exploring the rich seafaring history of the region. Following a day of dramatic scenery, coastal heritage, and legendary history, sit back and enjoy the scenic return journey to Aberdeen Cruise Port. - We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and sensible, flat-soled walking shoes or sneakers. A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are also suggested. However, as the weather can be very unpredictable, please bring an umbrella and check the weather forecast before your tour.
- This tour is not wheelchair accessible, but it can accommodate collapsible wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and small backpacks if notified at the time of booking. However, motorized scooters or luggage are not permitted on this tour. Guests are expected to enter and exit the vehicle or vessel on their own and without assistance, maneuver steps, walk uphill as well as various types of terrain and surfaces. Guests wishing to access the top of the lighthouse must climb approximately 72 steps as well as a ladder.
