Hacienda Horseback RidingThe Puerto Rican countryside is yours to explore aboard your loyal and sturdy steed.After meeting your driver at the pier, you will depart the city for the hacienda, located 30 minutes from the port. Upon arrival, you will fill out a waiver and have a short safety orientation. Based on your experience, you will be matched up with your horse and practice briefly.You will head out along lagoons and cross-coastal plain on the first hour of your ride. During this portion, your guide will also tell you some of the history of the ranch. A stop will be made to stretch and enjoy a bottle of water.The second part of the ride is along protected mangroves and the foothills of the nearby Karst Mountains. Your guide will discuss the area's wildlife as well as the flora and the fauna. After 50 minutes you will return to the corral, where your transportation back to the pier is waiting.
