Description
This tour offers you a bit of everything - the ocean, waterfalls, viewpoints, lagoons, local culture and even a liqueur tasting! You will get to see volcanic dark sand beaches on the south part of the island and then stop at one of the few traditional ceramics factory of the island. After that we will go up to one of the highest mountains - Pico da Barrosa - with a view to both coasts of the island and then you will see one of the ex-libris of the Azores - the Lagoa do Fogo. During this tour you will also have the opportunity to see a natural beautiful waterfall - Salto do Cabrito and then make way to "Caldeiras da Ribeira Grande", where you can see for yourself the presence of the volcanic activity on the area and, also, bathe in the hot springs that are directly heated by the Lagoa do Fogo volcano. At the end of the tour it's time to toast to this wonderful day with a locally produced liqueur!
